Objectives and Course Outline

 

Prerequisite: Basic Tree Climbing Course (BTCC)

Upon successful completion of this course you will be familiar with and able to perform the following:

 

Day 1 (9-5pm) with optional overnight in tree top*

  PMPs (prusik-minding pulleys)

  Daisy Rope

  In-line Daisy Rope

 Proper care and maintenance of gear

 

In the Field

 Construction and use of a “load lift”

 Use of daisy rope aloft 

 Treeboat placement/pitching a Treeboat village
