Doubled Rope Technique

Objectives and Outline

 

Upon successful completion of this course you will be familiar with and able to perform the following:

Day 1 (2-5pm)

Facilitated climb with your instructor

First technical tree climb

Discussion of advanced tree climbing classes and

international expeditions that your new BTCC skills will enable you to join

Field Walk and Tree Inspection

Proper inspection and selection of tree for a safe climb

Ground inspection

Trunk inspection

Canopy inspection

Environmental Principles
