Do you want a closer connection to your natural surroundings? Beyond the Branches is a guided experience designed to take you deeper into your tree time. This is not your typical skills and equipment class. In fact we will be talking about how to reduce the amount of gear we take into the trees, allowing us to engage with nature as closely as we can. If you are an experienced tree climber wishing to explore the potential of your relationship with trees and nature, please join us on this journey.
We will focus on:
• sense expansion
• awareness and trust
• team building
• minimalist climbing
• nature observation
• night climbing
This event will be like a camp. We will be creating a tribe where we’ll have community responsibilities every day. To get the most out of this immersion, please be prepared to remain on site the whole time.
Your guides are powerful seekers of spiritual connection with nature:

• Carolyn Temes, tree climber and life-long student of the wild

Location: Tree Climbing Planet's training site near Portland, Oregon
Requirement: You must be an accomplished DRT tree climber or graduate of a Basic Tree Climbing Course
Things to Bring:
• Your own tree climbing gear
• Camping gear (all you will need, including sleeping bag, tent, personal camp kitchen, headlamp)
• Your food for 3 lunches, 2 dinners and snacks. (Breakfasts will be provided.)
• A blindfold
