Instant Treehouse!!! Big Improvements in our Treeboat Tent!
New Tribe’s workshop is pretty low-tech. For years, the only way we could make our own Tent and Rainfly poles was with sectional fiberglass rods that separated into many pieces. Easy to drop a piece and spoil your setup. Also, the small ferrules and tips could come unglued and get lost. Those old poles never made us happy, but they were the best we could do in-house.
Now we have custom Easton shock-corded poles! They fold up for packing, and when you’re ready to set up your Tent, you just shake them out and the bungee cord inside makes them snap into place. Then it’s easy to slip them into the casings, making Tent setup a breeze. No more lost pieces—instead just peace of mind.
More roomy and weather-tight than our Rainfly, the Treeboat Tent has great overhead clearance inside, so you can dress, stretch and move about, staying snug no matter what the storm is like outside. Made of weather-resistant 200 denier nylon oxford fabric, the Tent’s three Easton poles hold it up and out like a covered wagon top. The middle pole can be set to flare outward giving ventilation and entry access from beneath, or it can be pulled in close to the sides of the Treeboat to keep wind out.
At each end, the flap zips closed and ties down to keep out rough weather--or unzips and rolls up to allow a breeze when the weather is mild. New mesh vents at each end provide great ventilation for condensation control, even when the flaps are secured. Note: The Tent does not seal out insects. For freedom from bugs in your Treeboat camp, you can rig our Treeboat Mosquito Net inside the Tent.

We include Kenyon Seam Sealer 3 with every Tent. It is a water-based formula that waterproofs sewn seams, neat and easy to apply with the applicator bottle. By leaving this step to you, we can control our costs to keep the price of the Tent more manageable for you.
