Here is the lightweight, comfortable recreational tree climbing saddle New Tribe is known for. The belt design includes two slots where you can mount bags, buckets or tools. This is a legstrap-type saddle with a sliding "D" on the legstrap bridge in front for freedom of movement. The large teardrop legpads make it comfortable to hang in. You can't slip out of it in any position, even upside down.

Strong, abrasion-resistant nylon canvas covers 4" wide closed-cell foam padding. Life-safety system is made with 5500 lbs parachute webbing and 7500 lbs forged steel D ring. Clip your gear into a quicksnap hook and three rolled aluminum accessory rings on the belt. Comes with galvanized steel Delta Screw Link for closure.

BELT SIZE and LEGSTRAP SIZE Find your size according to your “over the clothes” measurements, using our Saddle Size Chart. You’ll need TWO measurements – your waist (at the navel) and your upper thigh. Belt and Legstrap sizes can be mixed or matched for best fit. Select your sizes from the menus below.

NOTES ABOUT SIZE XL
If your legstrap size is XL and your belt size is smaller, you can place your order here. For best performance in the field, we make all XL Legstraps with Extended legstrap pads. There is an additional charge of $40 for the special size and features. NOTE: In "Legstrap Pads" options below, be sure to choose "Extended, size XL only" to avoid a duplicate charge for this feature.

LEGSTRAP PADS There are two legstrap pad styles to choose from.
-- The STANDARD legstrap pads are teardrop-shaped and made of light density foam. They are fine for most recreational climbing activities for people of medium or light body weight.
-- The EXTENDED legstrap pads are shaped to cushion the legstrap across more of your inner thigh. If you spend long hours in your Saddle, or if you have a heavier body type, Extended legstrap pads are for you. They are cut from double-density foam, so they're firmer and provide more support than the Standard pads. Some climbers who've tried them wouldn't want to climb without this super comfort feature. Extended legstrap pads will add $14.00 to your saddle price (except for size XL, see NOTES ABOUT SIZE XL above), and give you hours of extra comfort each time you climb.

SCREW LINK Every New Tribe Saddle comes complete with a Galvanized Delta Screw Link as the standard closure hardware, much safer and more reliable than using a carabiner in this critical place. If you like, you can upgrade the Galvanized Delta to a Stainless Steel Delta, Galvanized Pear, or Stainless Steel Pear for an additional charge. Use the menu below to let us know which link you want.
